Wedding Gifts

Germany doesn't really do wedding registries the way the U.S. does, but since some of you have asked, we put together a little list—not because we expect gifts (truly, your presence is more than enough!), but just in case it's helpful. Feel free to use it as inspiration rather than a shopping list—if you see something on there but find a different version, a secondhand one, or something that simply reminds you of us, that's just as wonderful.

We'd also be truly grateful for any cash gifts. These would go toward some home improvement projects we're excited about—like upgrading our bed, sofa, and other essentials. If you'd like to go that route, you can use the cash gift instructions listed below.

We know that many of you are traveling to Berlin from a long way away! We wanted to put together a short list of things to do when you're in Berlin.

• Rüyam Gemüse Kebab (Charlottenburg) — High-quality, less crowded alternative.
• Azzam (Neukölln) — Palestinian-style hummus, falafel, and schwarma.

• Buck & Breck (Mitte) — Hidden speakeasy-style cocktail bar.
• Klunkerkranich (Neukölln) — Rooftop bar with city views.
• Prater Biergarten (Prenzlauer Berg) — One of Berlin's oldest beer gardens.
